appetizers and cocktails in three private upstairs rooms and heated covered patio.
Saturday, April 27 – Winery Event and Evening Banquet – Maxville Winery

We have the exclusive use of Maxville Winery for a fun filled day of events and sisterhood.
Saturday Daytime: (Casual Attire)
10:30AM Arrival Reception – Learn the history of Maxville and Chiles Valley Appellation
11:00AM Winemaker hosted vineyard walk and wine cave tour
12:00PM Lunch provided by Oakville Grocery, a famous local gourmet establishment
opened in 1881
1:15PM Chef curated cooking class
2:30PM Relax and mingle by the scenic lake before returning to your hotel to
freshen up for the evening banquet
Saturday Evening – AOII Chapter Dinner at 5:30pm at Maxville Winery (Cocktail Attire Suggested)
A lovely evening is planned with a wine reception and a food and wine pairing dinner prepared by
Chef Stefano Gusberti. Non-alcoholic options are available as well as options for any dietary
restrictions. We will have remembrances, songs, and a raffle.
Sunday, April 28
Individual meetups / departures. We are also offering two optional events on
Sunday morning for those interested:
- Hot Air Balloon Ride – Price $321 (includes gratuity) per person for a scenic 3-4 hour balloon ride in our own private balloon over the breathtaking Napa Valley Vistas.
- Hike to view the Wildflowers at Moore Creek, St. Helena, guided by our own Nu Lambda sister Julie Martini who is a resident in the Valley.
Friday the 26th and Saturday the 27th
Weekend Price: $499/person
for the two day events mentioned with wine, beverages, tax, and gratuities included. All hotel and travel expenses are to be booked and paid for separately / individually.

Include in your email your name, pledge class, dietary restrictions (if any), if you are interested in
either of the Sunday morning activities (balloon ride or the wildflowers hike) and whatever questions

Payment
Please send $499 no later than 3/15/24 via PayPal to Account Name: Therese Peters, The Art of Fine Wine. Please use her cell phone number (310) 710-0651 to locate the account. *Make sure to add in the comments section your name and use the “Friends and Family” option to AVOID PAYING A FEE.
Payment for the Balloon ride can be made later once we confirm the participants (up to 15 in the balloon). We will notify you when payment is due.
Special Requests
Memorial Tribute Poster – Kat Gulmert is putting together a memorial poster of our dearly departed sisters from our recolonization years and is asking for names along with any photos you are willing to share. Please submit scanned copies to her at gulmertk@gmail.com no later than March 1, 2024.
AOII Nu Lambda Directory – Liz Hart has been updating our current directory which will be distributed at the reunion. We currently have 109 sisters listed. If you would like to be included, please provide: your name (including maiden), initiation year, current address, home and/or cell phone number, email address and a current photo / headshot. Email to lizhart1024@gmail.com no later than April 6, 2024. If you cannot attend, she can send you a PDF version to have and the directory will be updated and emailed periodically. Let’s keep in touch!
Hotel Information
There are an enormous number of hotels, bed and breakfast and vacation rentals in the area at different price ranges as everyone’s budget varies. You might want to get together as a group and get a VRBO or AIRBNB in the area as well.
We HIGHLY recommend you stay in the northern area of the Napa Valley, i.e. Yountville and north of there in order to be close enough to our event venues. Book your reservation ASAP as weekends tend to fill up quickly. Here are a few hotel options that you can check out:
Rustridge B&B Winery – A lovely ranch, B&B, and winery close to Maxville Winery. Julie Martini, our Nu Lambda sister is working as an intern there. You’ll be well taken care of!
Pope Valley Winery Guesthouse – This venue is very close to Maxville Winery as well. Please call winery for guesthouse availability.
Vineyard Country Inn – A 20 suite boutique B&B located on historic Hwy 29 in the center of St. Helena.
The Estate at Yountville – This is a very posh hotel and Maxville Winery has a discount of 20% arranged with the hotel as well as a spa discount. They offer a lovely breakfast, which is included.
There are several options as well in Calistoga. Also, you may get better rates using the HOTELS.com website or APP.
Airport Information
Airports closest to the Napa area are Sonoma County Airport (Santa Rosa), Oakland International, Sacramento International and San Francisco International.
